The Telecare Services Association Conference in the Celtic Manonr Hotel, Newport launched with Paul Burstow, health and care thought leader and former Care Minister and Alyson Scurfield, TSA Chief Executive  unveiling our new products. The first new product is called the Buzzz. A stylish radio pager alarm.  With the look and feel of a mobile phone but the reliability of a pager, Buzzz is the ideal 21st Century solution for  caring one to one or caring for many.

Buzzz has an innovative skin on it’s charger base which gives the opportunity for users to choose from five stylish colours allowing it to fit in with a wide variety of decorating styles, eliminating the stigma of using technology within a care setting. A number of Buzzz pagers were displayed alongside illuminated letters spelling out the name of the product. This novel display, along with the Onyx pendant alarm in it’s jewellery cabinet had the CAIR stand flooded with delegates throughout the two day event.

The second, new product is the Link range of  sensors which are the Telecare industry’s first wireless interlinked smoke and heat sensors. CAIR’s new smoke and heat sensors provide the crucial time for evacuation in a fire. Alerting each other, the alarm sounds from every detector in the property ensuring that an audible alarm is sounded for example, on the fourth floor even if fire is detected on the ground floor. These new sensors are the first in technology enabled care to comply with BS5839 standard. This new range of sensors also alerts back to the monitoring centre or the Buzzz pager. Up to 150 various sensors or devices can be added on to the Buzzz.
